My little one has been fighting a horrible cold this week! As it’s ’that time of year’ I thought I would share some tips that have got us through 🤪

🌱 tea tree & peppermint oil on cotton wool rubbed over the bone of the ear, then taped to the ear for half an hour to get rid of ear ache

🌱 lavender & tea tree oil, diluted with fractionated coconut oil, rubbed above the brow to get rid of gunky eyes

🌱 a blend of FLOOT (frankincense, lemon, oregano, onguard & tea tree) diluted with fractionated coconut oil, applied to the soles of feet, down the spine & in the diffuser to support the immune system

🌱 I leave a temperature to do its thing as it’s the bodies way of fighting an illness, however if they are ever uncomfortable, I apply diluted peppermint oil to the soles of their feet to draw the temperature down the body

🌱 I also used Pulsatilla & Belladonna from my homeopathy kit (at least 2 hours after using oils)

🥰 and finally lots of cuddles! After a few days my little one is back to his cheeky self!

It’s easy to preach that breastfeeding is natural and if someone has a problem with you feeding your baby in public, then they need to ask themselves WHY 🥴

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you will feel comfortable breastfeeding in public, especially the first few times 🫶🏻
