Hello, 

I’m Charlotte, The Essex Doula! 

I live in the Essex countryside with my Husband, our two beautiful children and our six chickens!  

I have always had an interest (some may call it a health obsession!), for all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum and since becoming a parent myself, it has become a true passion of mine. Having my children has made me realise what support is lacking in the parenting world and so, I am here to fill in the gaps and help make your experience a positive one. Your decision making should be informed, your needs should be heard, and your coffee should be enjoyed while its still HOT! 

I have always gone out of my way to help others and been a natural support system for those around me. Helping lift the load for others, no matter how big or small is just my thing! 

Working as a Doula combines who I am as a person with a true passion of mine, and it has been such a natural step for me. It is such an honour to support families as they grow, with non-judgemental support and understanding. 

They say, ‘it takes a village’ and there’s a very good reason for that! Please don’t be afraid to ask for help!
